  5. Thanks for the visit and for following my blog. I have to use Google translate for some of your articles as I don’t speak Italian – it’s good that the internet offers such tools to help people understand each other better.

I enjoyed reading your articles on Judaism as many people in the world today seem to be moving towards violent anti-Semitism again, which is tragic and unjust. I am a Christian so I believe in the same God as the God of the Jewish people: it’s just that they are yet to acknowledge that the Messiah (Jesus) has already come.

If you have 5 minutes, may I encourage you to read the following article on my blog:

May God always protect you and bless you. 🙂

  17. Hi Gian Franco,

Thanks so much for following Eliot Pattison on Twitter. I wanted to take the opportunity to further introduce you to his work as I believe it might be of interest for discussion on your blog. Eliot Pattison is the author of the internationally acclaimed Inspector Shan Series, set in China/Tibet. The series brings to light China’s continuous human rights violations against the Tibetan people and has been translated into over 20 languages. It’s also been adapted to radio dramas and become popular on the black market in China.

Just recently, Eliot received the prestigious “Art of Freedom” award from the Tibet House, an international organization founded by Columbia University professor Robert Thurman, actor Richard Gere, and acclaimed composer Philip Glass at the behest of the 14th Dalai Lama.

I wonder if you might be interested in reviewing Eliot Pattison’s most recent book in the series, Soul of the Fire, on your blog. It was included in Publishers Weekly’s “Best Books of 2014” and focuses on the growing number of self-immolations by Tibetans which are being white-washed as acts of terrorism by the Chinese government.

Happy to send a free copy for you to take a look. For more info on Eliot Pattison, please visit: eliotpattison.com.

Thanks for listening and I hope to hear from you soon.

    all best,
    Julia Drake

    • Julia, thank you for your suggestion! Usually i don’t do “reviews”, but life should be made also of exceptions…The violation of human rights in Tibet is a cancer of our world that too often is forgotten. Sadly. I have two more “post” on my docket, but after that I will be happy to read “Soul of the Fire” and write about it on this blog. Thank you Julia!

  18. Thank you for following patnieder.com. I will be interested to read more of your work.
